ABOUT THE PROJECT

Nestled within the established community of Oakridge, in Calgary, this natural playground invites children to climb, balance, and explore through features inspired by the surrounding landscape. Designed and built by Rockyview Play, the space blends natural play features such as log and net climbers, monkey bars and a spectacular tower fort with two slides. This playground invites open-ended play opportunities that encourage creativity and connection to nature. Thoughtfully integrated into the park’s mature setting, the playground offers a welcoming gathering place for families and a play experience that grows with the child—rooted in imagination, movement, and discovery.
