ABOUT THE PROJECT

​The Coventry Hills Parkour Playground is the City of Calgary’s first outdoor parkour project, thoughtfully crafted to engage individuals across all age groups and abilities. This pioneering project is a collaborative effort between Rockyview Play and Tula Landscape Architects, with expert insights from local Parkour users, ensuring an authentic and safe parkour environment.

Recognizing a gap in available gathering and recreational spaces for tweens and teens, this space offers a dynamic environment that encourages physical activity, creativity, and social interaction. The park features a variety of obstacles and structures designed to challenge and inspire, promoting the development of gross motor skills and resilience. By providing a dedicated space for parkour, this space not only introduces youth to this discipline but also fosters a sense of community and belonging.
