ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Coventry Hills Parkour Playground is the City of Calgary’s first outdoor parkour project, thoughtfully crafted to engage individuals across all age groups and abilities. This pioneering project is a collaborative effort between Rockyview Play and Tula Landscape Architects, with expert insights from local Parkour users, ensuring an authentic and safe parkour environment.
Recognizing a gap in available gathering and recreational spaces for tweens and teens, this space offers a dynamic environment that encourages physical activity, creativity, and social interaction. The park features a variety of obstacles and structures designed to challenge and inspire, promoting the development of gross motor skills and resilience. By providing a dedicated space for parkour, this space not only introduces youth to this discipline but also fosters a sense of community and belonging.
Located at 972 Coventry Drive NE, the park is a testament to our commitment to innovative and inclusive recreational spaces, offering a unique destination for residents and visitors alike.
