ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Eau Claire Play Plaza, designed and built for the City of Calgary, is a premier play destination for families across the city. Featuring a custom built, climbable rainbow trout and a 360 degree climbing wall set in the centre, this playground is sure to engage, inspire and challenge children and adults of all ages.

The striking Rainbow trout-inspired custom built play feature with a dramatic “splash” climbing wall serves as the playground’s centerpiece, inviting children of all ages to engage in dynamic and adventurous play. With 360 degrees (and varied difficulty levels) of climbing for children and adults of all abilities, this play space has something for everyone. The playground has beautifully hand painted with leaf shaped wobble boards, a disc swing, a log climber, and an accessible trampoline, which draws everyone in! This playground ensures a diverse and inclusive play experience, fostering movement, exploration, and fun for everyone.
